Ronnie Rooney grew up on the coast of Massachusetts in a very big small town called Plymouth.
From an early age, she knew she wanted to be an illustrator. She took art lessons, every art class she could in high school, and even went to college for painting and illustration
For the past twenty two years she has been illustrating professionally. She happily creates art for all sorts of things; from children’s books, to yard flags, to fabric and even Christmas ornaments. Some of her clients include Carson Flags, Toland Flags, Kurt Adler Christmas Ornaments, Kaufman Fabrics, Custom Decor Flags, Concordia Books, Capstone Press- just to name a few. She works very hard and gets things done on time or early. You can usually find her tucked away in her studio painting and drawing.
For the past twelve years Ronnie has travelled the United States as an Army wife. Together with her Infantryman husband, two kids and a dog, they have criss-crossed the country, establishing new studios and making new friends wherever they go. They are currently stationed at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY.
